We approach the work of our mission through the following Standing Committees-
- Communications – Responsible for maintaining the FTJF website, our SM presence, and the flow of information to and from the public including relevant events and quarterly newsletters.
- Heritage & Culture – Identify, preserve and celebrate the Jones Falls Watershed’s historical and cultural legacy, ensuring the valley’s heritage remains a living, accessible part of Baltimore’s community fabric.
- Land Use – Coordinate grant-funded projects, review development projects in the Jones Falls Watershed for natural ecosystem impact and advocate for the preservation and restoration of contributing assets.
- Stewardship- Promote and physically address natural ecosystem balance in the Jones Falls Watershed with particular focus on tree canopy preservation along the lower Jones Falls, and replanting.
